Advanced Biological Treatment Technologies
Addressing the critical challenges of high land costs and spatial constraints in metropolitan locations, our engineering team designs compact and modular STP installations built in accordance with consultant recommendations and site-specific needs. Utilizing the latest techno-commercially viable biological processes, we deliver treated effluent of superior quality suitable for flushing, horticultural irrigation, cooling tower makeup, and industrial recycling.
MBR Based STP (Membrane Bio-Reactor)
MBR technique, a new method for wastewater treatment, integrates membrane separation and biotechnology, rejects activated sludge and macromolecular organic matter in aerobic tank/MBR tank with membrane separation plant, thus saving the use of secondary sedimentation tank. Consequently, the concentration of activated sludge rises greatly, the HRT and the SRT could be controlled separately, and difficult degraded matters are constantly degraded and reacting in reactor. Therefore, compared to traditional biological treatment methods, MBR technique greatly strengthens the function of the bioreactor with the using of membrane separation. It provides the typical MBR concept of combination of activated sludge process and membrane filtration.
MBBR Based STP / FAB Based STP (Moving Bed Bio Reactor / Fluidized Aerobic Bio-Reactor)
Moving Bed Bio Reactor (MBBR) and Fluidized Aerobic Bio-Reactor (FAB): MBBR is a variant of submerged aerated filter technology. It provides a small footprint, robust biomass process solution for wastewater treatment. The process uses thousands of specially designed biofilm carriers (media) operating in mixed motion within an aerated wastewater treatment basin. Each individual carrier increases productivity by providing protected surface area to support the growth of heterotrophic and autotrophic bacteria within its cells. It is this high-density population of bacteria that achieves high-rate biodegradation within the system.
The MBBR can be designed as a small footprint process solution for a new works, or as a retrofit to an existing activated sludge plant to increase hydraulic or organic capacity without adding new tankage.
SBR Based STP (Sequencing Batch Reactor)
Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR): SBR is a fill-and-draw extended aeration system for sewage treatment. In this system, sewage is added to a single “batch” reactor where equalization, aeration, and clarification can all be achieved using a single batch reactor. It is a true sequencing batch system able to provide consistent effluent quality to desired limits. SBR is designed to minimize operation and maintenance costs, with all equipment accessible from the side of the plant, eliminating the need to dewater. Power requirement is very low due to intermittent operation of pumps and blowers. The overall power consumption is approximately 60% compared to conventional processes.
SAFF Based STP (Submerged Aerobic Fixed Film)
Submerged Aerobic Fixed Film (SAFF): SAFF technology incorporates the advantages of fixed film technology combined with fine bubble diffused aeration. SAFF is highly suitable for medium and small installations where simplicity, low operator intervention, and consistent discharge parameters are required.
